Margaret Roberts, reconstruction #4 of Spatial Composition 2 by Katarzyna Kobro, at 1.8m square instead of 500mm square, in fabric instead of painted metal, and in 2015 instead of 1928. In Openings 2015 at AirSpace Projects: each of the reconstructions is incomplete and requires visitors to physically complete the work as a way of reflecting Katarzyna's own view that Sculpture is part of the space in which it is located. Sculpture enters space and space enters the sculpture (Katarzyna Kobro Europa (2) 1929: quoted by Malgorzata Kitowska-Lysiak 2004 in http://culture.pl/en/artist/katarzyna-kobro). This reconstruction #4 asks visitors to get inside the work and arrange the parts to be like the work made by Katarzyna.
