"This
work used the gazebo-like, free standing structure on the Western side
of the High Court of Australia. The structure is a small room, with
two glass sides. The internal cement walls, ceiling and floor were covered
in red iron oxide powder. The powder, loosely rubbed over by hand, was
visible when looking through the glass from close-up. Further back,
the red background of the glass appeared to capture and colour the viewer's
immediate environment." |
