1125, Artspace, 1999.
Room drawing in unbound iron oxide in Ground Up, an exhibition curated by Adam Boyd of work by Yenda Carson, Jacquelene Drinkall, Judith Duquemin, Anita Fricek, Sonja Porcaro, Margaret Roberts and Regina Walter.
The Artspace wall against which 1125 is located is not at right angles to its two joining walls. At its widest point on the floor (on the western end), this irregularity is 1125mm wide—showing that it could be removed by moving the line of the wall 1125mm away from the road on the western end, or toward it on the eastern end. A 1125mm-wide band of unbound iron oxide distinguishes this irregular space from its surroundings.
