Margaret Roberts Polygon Landscape 2013 (triwall cardboard and Kandos town) (detail: 15 Kandos houses whose polygons remain untaken or unfostered at April 2014)

By early 2014, I had re-found all the houses that I had photographed in 2012, and for which I had made polygons for Polygon Landscape as part of Cementa_13.Polygons for the 15 houses above have either not been wanted by the people currently occupying them, or no contact has been able to be made with their occupants. These 15 polygons wait at Kandos Projects for fostering or adoption by people or institutions who like them for whatever reason. People have many ways of caring for the place in which they live, and adopting a polygon is one way of participating in a project intended to enact it in a theatrical or symbolic way. Efforts wil be made to find carers for individual polgons or an orphanage for all 15, with preference given to those closest to Kandos where they originate.
