disturbed drawing 2008
Tin Sheds Gallery, Wilkinson Building, 148 City Road, University of Sydney

Disturbed drawing is part of LOCAL TIME, a collaborative exhibition with work by Beata Geyer (partly visible on the left) and Lesley Giovanelli (partly visible on the right). Disturbed drawing uses floor tape to mark out a life-sized drawing of the central wall of the gallery to suggest its potential as sculpture as well as architecture. The drawing is designed to interact with its subject by its slight shift in angle at its starting point at the base of the column. Its pairing with its subject is partly repeated in the pairing of the gallery's two moveable walls, visible at the back of this image.
